DIY smoothie bowls, delicious and refreshing!
Add the following ingredients to a high power blender:
1 cup of frozen fruit (extra points for using berries)
1 banana (note that you can substitute 1/2 an avocado for a lower glycemic option)
¼ cup of liquid (plant-based milks work great)
Blend until smooth.
Top with toppings of your choice: any fruit, seeds, nuts, nut butter, coconut flakes, granola, etc.
