What to expect from your visit
Initial Consultation
To obtain a detailed picture of you as an individual, including your unique health concerns; your genetic and environmental predispositions; and your health goals, Dr. Kuzniar will conduct a complete naturopathic health assessment.This visit will last one and a half hours.
You can prepare for this visit by logging in to the Patient Portal (you will receive a unique sign-up link to the Portal when you schedule your initial visit); completing all of the forms as thoroughly as possible; adding all of the supplements and medications you currently take; and uploading any relevant lab testing or reports from medical procedures from your other providers for Dr. Kuzniar to review.
Follow Up Visits
Follow up is a crucial component of naturopathic care. Your follow up visits will be forty five minutes long. At the end of each visit, Dr. Kuzniar will determine the ideal time frame for your next follow up visit. During these appointments, she will monitor your progress; review any results of testing she has requested; and modify and continue with your Plan of care as needed. While you may communicate briefly with Dr. Kuzniar via the Patient Portal in between visits, it will be during these follow up visits that all of your questions and concerns will be addressed.
Follow up care is also essential for health maintenance and to focus on disease prevention and Dr. Kuzniar will encourage you to come in at periodic intervals even after your chief complaints have resolved to continue to keep you healthy!
Phone Consultations
Although in-person meetings are preferred, and the Initial Visit must always be an in-person visit, there may be occasions in which a telephone consultation is easier for a patient. These sessions will be billed at the same rate as regular follow up visits.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of the appointment. Our clinic accepts cash, check, and all major credit cards.
Unfortunately, Naturopathic Medicine is NOT covered by insurance within the State of NJ. Some Flexible Spending (also known as pre-tax Health Savings Accounts) issued by some employers can be applied to your visits and even, in some cases, to your supplement purchases. Please check with your provider.

Cancellation policy
In consideration to other clients and to Dr. Kuzniar, we would appreciate 48 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. You will be duly billed for late arrivals and missed appointments.
