Multivitamin use reduces dementia risk

A study published in Alzheimer’s & Dementia followed more than 2200 adults over three years and found that use of a daily multivitamin-mineral supplement showed global cognition benefits compared with placebo.

Interestingly, the multi used in the study was Centrum Silver. As a naturopathic doctor, this is not a multi I’d consider to be a very good choice since it contains many synthetic, poorly absorbed and utilized nutrients, and the amount of each nutrient tends to be fairly low.

For most of us, a daily multi is a good insurance policy!
