House plants for cleaner indoor air

Improving indoor air quality has been higher on my priority list for the past few weeks.  My family and I will be moving into a new home very soon, and upon inspection, mold was discovered in the crawlspace (Eeeek!).  Luckily it was found, and we are taking the necessary steps to remediate it and prevent it from coming back.

Mold has been getting a lot of press these days, and it is important to test and remove if present, it is one of many indoor contaminants of which we should be aware.  As our homes and workplaces become more energy efficient, so does the potential for trapping these pollutants inside.  There are many ways to clean up the air in your home, but adding some house plants is one of my favorites.  Check out this article for some specific recommendations on the best choices:
