A brilliant resource with a cute name!

A brilliant resource with a cute name!

If you’ve been around for a while, you know I love the Environmental Working Group’s website and app (SkinDeep) as a tool for figuring out whether your current personal care products are “clean” and, if not, for finding safe alternatives. That said, their database is limited. A patient told me about the Think Dirty (shop clean) app as an alternative. Though it also has it’s limitations, it’s a helpful resource when trying to navigate the myriad of chemicals used by the beauty industry.

Never take it for granted that something you purchased from Whole Foods is clean. Conversely, many drugstore and high end non-organic products can also be clean. Doing the research is now made easier!
